Education from a hygienist is the key to keeping your teeth healthy

Baker Dental Group hygienist, Jemima

Gum disease is the number one reason people in developing countries lose their teeth. A lot of the time people don’t even realise that they have gum disease as the early signs and symptoms are not always obvious. Some of the symptoms are bleeding gums and bad breath.

Dental hygienists are trained to treat this disease and educate people on how to keep their teeth.

To maintain healthy gums and teeth it is essential to brush your teeth twice a day and to floss or use interdental brushes (pixters) everyday. The key is to clean both the gums and teeth.

Education from a hygienist is the key to keeping your teeth.

Baker Dental Group has their hygienist, Jemima, coming to Parkes every Monday and Tuesday to advise clients on improving their oral health.

Call (02) 6862 1391 to make an appointment to see Jemima.
